Before the Ash is a strategy city-builder where you grow a settlement next to Mount Vesuvius. Using cards and hexagonal tiles, you manage resources and development to prosper before the impending eruption. Designed for desktop play, it was created for a game jam with a 'Growing' theme.

It sits in the Idle / Management corner of the genre. Like most idle games it runs on a simple loop — earn, reinvest, automate — but the depth is in how long that loop keeps unfolding. Expect to check in, make a few decisions, and watch the numbers climb whether you're at the keyboard or not.
