what is Coreward?

Coreward is an incremental game where you rotate shields to block enemies and collect debris to upgrade your defenses.

In Coreward, players protect their core by rotating shields against waves of enemies, collecting debris to unlock upgrades. The game features an expanding upgrade tree and challenges tactical thinking and multitasking as you defend against stronger foes.

It sits in the Idle / Management / Strategy / Prototype corner of the genre. Like most idle games it runs on a simple loop — earn, reinvest, automate — but the depth is in how long that loop keeps unfolding.
